Caitlin Poppie

Memorial Scholarship

Class of 2003

Caitlin Poppie was tragically killed in a car accident on March 12, 2002. She was sixteen years old and a junior at Herscher High School. Although Caitlin was a gifted and versatile athlete, her one true love was volleyball. At almost six feet tall, she was a formidable adversary who loved competition. Her family is proud to honor her memory by offering a $750 scholarship to a deserving graduating senior volleyball player who exhibits the same love for the game that Caitlin truly lived for.
