4th grade is definitely an exciting year for the students. It is much different than other grade levels they have been in before. In earlier grades, students are focusing on learning to read. Now the focus changes to reading to learn! It is different way to read for the students. 

Also, we add a new subject to their curriculum, Social Studies. The students have a social studies book which focuses on the different regions in the United States.
