Unit 2 PTA Elections

Positions open for 2021-2022:

 

1 President Position,

1 Treasurer Position

1 Secretary position

3 Vice Presidents

One at Bonfield, Herscher and Limestone Building

3 Membership/Volunteer Coordinators

One at Bonfield, Herscher, and Limestone Building

 

President:

        -Create monthly agendas & run the meetings

            -Communicate with Principals and Staff on school events.

            -Gather the mail from PTA mailbox prior to each meeting (BGS, HIS, LMS)

-Creates back to school packets, work PTA sign ups at Open Houses, run the walk-a-thon (with a team of people.)

-Oversee all events, appoint chairs from volunteer lists. Available to assist at all events.

Treasurer:

-Handles all the banking (online, in-person, check writing)

-Keep the budget up to date (we have a program)

-Give a monthly budget report of expenses, banking balances, etc

-Collects money for walk-a-thon and other major events.

Secretary:

-Keep the website up to date (information and uploads forms)

-Take monthly minutes

-Organizes the volunteer list at the beginning of the year.

Vice Presidents:

          -Must have a child present in the building they represent

            -Report what is occurring at their location at all PTA meetings

          -Organize Staff Appreciation week

Membership/Volunteer Coordinators:

          -Must have a child present in the building they represent

            -Maintain a membership list for the building they represent

            -Create and maintain a volunteer form for the site

            -Communicate and recruit new members & volunteers

 

Elections will be held on May 3rd at BGS at 6pm
