During our meet season, please see our policy regarding severe weather/Cold policy:(This only applies to home meets, we are at the discretion of the host school on canceling away meets.)
Severe Weather: In the case of extreme weather all visiting teams will report back to their buses. Limestone athletes are to go to the locker room in the concession complex. All spectators should report to their vehicles. In the event of heavy rains, cold, or strong storms in the forecast a decision to cancel the meet will be made by 2:00 p.m. Should the meet begin, a cancel decision will be made by the starter and the coaches of the teams involved.
Cold Weather: For the safety of our athletes and comfort of the spectators, the following formula will be used to decide whether to have the meet:, Air temperature must be above 400F, and the wind chill must be above 350F for the expected duration of the meet. Should the temperature not be expected to stay above that threshold through 6 p.m., a decision to cancel will be made no later than 2p.m.
