It is dedicated to strengthening the children's behavioral health system of care
in Kankakee County through a coordinated network of services and supports
to address the needs of the whole child.

In addition to the above resources, the Illinois Department of Human Services Mental Health Division has a free-of-charge emotional support text line: Call4Calm Text "TALK" to 552020 and a counselor employed by a local community mental health center will call within 24 hours. You cal also text this same number with key words such as "UNEMPLOYMENT", "FOOD" or "SHELTER" and you will receive information on how to navigate and access supports and services.
